We’ve known Lady Gaga is one of the best pop performers of our time but, in case you forgot, she reminded the world just how talented she is as she performed at the massive Super Bowl 51 Halftime Show. The star gave the most incredible performance of her life as she performed some of her biggest hits in an exquisite array of sound, lighting, costume, vocal range and performance.
Gaga’s performance was out of this world. She started off her performance as she appeared 79 metres above the crowd, as a swarm of drones hovered behind her; twinkling in the sky before adopting the colours of the stars and stripes during Woody Guthrie’s ‘This Land Is Your Land’.
The star then broke into a massive medley of her smash hit singles ‘Poker Face’, ‘The Edge Of Glory’, ‘Born This Way’, ‘Telephone’ and ‘Just Dance’ before giving an emotional performance of her new hit single ‘Million Reasons’ and ending things off with ‘Born This Way’.
The star performed on a beautiful set (which took just seven minutes to construct) and I loved how interactive the crowd was during that performance. She relied so much on the people on the pitch and it almost epitomizes the close relationship she has with her fans.
Her performance was flawless – and America thought so too. Research shows that over 5 million tweets were sent out during her performance which again shows just how much power the pop star has on the music of today. But don’t believe me, watch the performance and judge for yourself:
