After wowing audiences on The Voice South Africa earlier this year, Armand Joubert seemed to crawl into the hearts of many South Africans around the country. He also impressed the staff at Universal Music South Africa who quickly offered him a record contract after the show came to an end and he has been working on new music ever since. Now, the star reveals that his new single ‘Should I’ will be out this Friday!
“My new song, ‘Should I,’ means a lot to me because often people just don’t know what it is that they want from you,” Armand explains. “When you make the conscious decision to give them what you are, who you are and add a little attitude and fierce to your truth, that should always be enough. This song makes me feel – fierce!”
The song was produced by Peach Van Pletzen at Openroom Studios and has a “bass-heavy summery” sound to it. Naturally, Armand is expected to show off his incredible vocal talent and the star is excited for the country to finally see who he is as an artist.
‘Should I’ releases this Friday (15 September) on your favourite digital platforms.
