The Jägermeister Up The Creek festival takes place between the 25th and the 28th of January 2018 at the Breede River in Swellendam and over the years, the festival has made a name for itself by bringing summer, good tunes and epic food together for the ultimate riverside adventure.
The festival has just announced their final line-up and it features some incredible local acts. Up The Creek has always been a sort of exclusive festival and this year it’s no different. Only 2500 tickets are on sale so you can imaging the feel is going to be unlike any other. Festival director Caitlin Hanley explains that “As a festival that only sells 2500 tickets each year, we are uniquely positioned to deliver a high-standard show with all the benefits of a small festival; plenty camping space, clean ablutions and hot showers, minimal queues and great service all the time from our crew. This year’s line-up is probably the most exciting we’ve planned since I joined the team in 2013. We have a real mix of genres, two fantastic headliners, plenty of favourites returning and a fresh collection of bands who will be performing at Up The Creek for the first time. As a festival that prides itself on repeatedly delivering a weekend of awesome entertainment to an audience who love live music we know that 2018 will be one you don’t want to miss. A mention of thanks must go out to all of our sponsors for the 2018 festival, especially Jägermeister, our naming sponsor, who have made it possible for Fokofpolisiekar to return to our stage.”
Tickets are available at NuTickets (http://nue.so/9u4umy) at R1,030 (excluding booking fees) for a full weekend pass. With a line-up this epic, it’s a festival you don’t want to miss.
