There’s just one week to go before Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ premieres around the world but today, the film’s official soundtrack was released. The country went into hysterics last week when it was announced that four local acts will be appearing on the film’s highly-anticipated soundtrack – and they didn’t disappoint!

Babes Wodumo eams up with Zacari on a track titled ‘Redemption’ Sjava joins forces with Mozzy on ‘Seasons’. The album will also see Yugen Blakrok team up with Vice Staples on ‘Opps’ while Saudi collaborates with Schoolboy Q and 2 Chains on a track titled ‘X’.

The album has an incredible array of music which compliments and celebrates the African superhero’s debut film. Black Panther bursts into theatres worldwide on the 16th of February 2018. Tickets are already on pre-sale from both Ster Kinekor and Nu Metro cinemas around the country. Still unsure if you should go watch this film? Read my review here.

In the meantime, here are the South African songs off the Black Panther OST:

Zacari & Babes Wodumo – Redemption

Mozzy, Sjava & Reason – Seasons

Vice Staples & Yugen Blakrok – Opps

Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz & Suadi – X
