Kriya Gangiah has come a long way since her career on’s Craz-e. The star is currently a presenter on SABC 3’s popular popular eastern culture and lifestyle show Mela and a social media strategist and presenter on Jacaranda FM and as her career continues to thrive, the star is blending her love for sports and her love for entertainment together in her new project which sees her host the popular Supersport Formula One show ‘Absolute F1’.

The show is already incredibly popular on the sports network and sees the star replace former host Sasha Martinengo who recently exited the show to explore new opportunities. Kriya, who is an avid racing fanatic, will be joined in studio by gurus in the Formula One and racing discipline that includes the experienced Bashobonke “Tschops” Sipuka, who competed in the formula Volkswagen class in Germany as well as Saloon car racing in Malaysia and super truck racing in South Africa.

“I have always had a passion for cars and gadgets so landing the lead presenter role for Absolute F1 is a dream job! Not to mention being part of an incredible brand like SuperSport and rubbing shoulders regularly with the ultimate petrol heads – who also happen to be great guys! I can’t wait to share the latest in sport and topical racing content with SA’s passionate formula one fans. Exciting times are ahead and I am delighted to be a part of The Champions Family,” the star gushes as she gets ready to step into the show’s driver’s seat.

Kriya is excited for fans to see this side of her personality and is incredibly honoured to be working alongside Supersport on this show. Catch Absolute F1 every Wednesday at 19h30 on Supersport and is a must-watch for any formula one lover.
