If you’re a Game Of Thrones fan, you will be excited to know that Gregor Clegane, a knight of House Clegane and the older brother of Sandor Clegane, and better known as “The Mountain” (played by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson) will be in South Africa for the FIBO Global Fitness in Africa Festival between Friday 26th October and Sunday 28th October 2018 at the TicketPro Dome in Johannesburg.
During the three-day festival, visitors will be exposed to everything (from apparel to equipment and nutrition) as well as see the latest developments in the industry. In addition, visitors will be able to take part in various group fitness activities and watch fitness competitions.
Hafþór (pronounced Half-Thor), was crowned the World`s Strongest Man last month in the Philippines and breaking records isn’t a foreign concept for the star. Hafþór, or Thor as he is also known, is the first person to have won the Arnold Strongman Classic and the World’s Strongest Man competitions in the same calendar year. In 2015 at the World’s Strongest Viking competition held in Norway, Hafþór carried a 10-metre-long (33 ft), 650-kilogram (1,430 lb) log for five steps, thus breaking a 1,000-year-old record set by Orm Storolfsson !
Hafþór will be signing autographs and will be available for photographs on Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th October. In addition to this he will also conduct a 45-minute question and answer session on both days.
“I am really looking forward to coming to the FIBO Global Fitness Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa and hope to see you there,” Hafþór says from the Game Of Thrones set.
Tickets for the FIBO Global Fitness in Africa Festival are now available from Computicket.
