Ciara has really made quite the impressive comeback. Her hit single ‘Level Up’ is taking charts around the world by storm thanks to it’s out-the-box approach as well as its popular dance challenge and the star has also recently premiered another brand-new song titled ‘Freak Me’. The star dropped an impromputu video for the track’s which was shot in Soweto last month when the star visited the country for her honeymoon with husband Russell Wilson.
The star worked with a bunch of local creatives like Black Coffee’s Soulstice Music on the production front, choreographer Sino Dunywa, stylists Trevor Stuurman and Rich Mnisi as well as a host of local dancers.
In an Instagram post, the star shares that the video was shot on “the block Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu used to live” – otherwise known as Vilakazi Street.
