This weekend, the popular DStv Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards were held at the Sandton Convention Centre and were attended by the who’s who of the South African entertainment industry.
The ceremony was, once again, hosted by the incredible Bonang Matheba who continues to prove why she is one of Africa’s strongest media personality. The production saw Kwesta, Sjava, Bucie, Sun-El Musician, Mlindo The Vocalist, Sho Madjozi, Dumi Mkokstad, Ntokozo Mbambo, Khaya Mthethwa and Mafikizolo and DJ Maphorisa featuring Moonchild and Zulu Mkhathini take to the stage for some incredible performances on the night in the middle of the 13 awards being handed out.
The Queen actress Thembsie Matu was the big winner of the night as she walked away with the Favourite Actress award and the DStv Ultimate Favourite Viewers’ Choice – meaning she received the most votes during the voting period.
