Diplo is considered one of the major game changers dance music has ever seen. Whether smashing records with his group Major Lazer or stepping out of his comfort zone on his own, Diplo continues to push boundaries when it comes to his music. The star has been vocal about his love for African influences and has worked closely with a number of African artists over the course of the last two years. This week, the producer jetted into the country to work with local acts Black Coffee and Moonchild Sanelly for what promises to be a major collaboration.
Moonchild Sanelly and Black Coffee, who shares a residency with Diplo at Las Vegas’ Wynn Hotel and Casino, both took to their social media pages to share an image of him in the studio with the producer.

Moonchild, who has taken the local music industry by storm over the past few years, revealed that she and Diplo had around a five-minute session in the studio but that it “was f**king lit”.
While there is no news on what the trio worked on in the studio or if the song is going to be released anytime soon, it’s great to see international artists jetting down to work with some of our incredible local talent.
