The wait is over! With over 2 billion streams of her music catalogue, GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar Ciara today released her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Beauty Marks – which is already No. 1 in New Zealand. This album marks the first release via her newly formed label Beauty Marks Entertainment, in conjunction with her global distribution deal through ADA Worldwide. The project has already seen massive success with the first single from the project “Level Up” recently receiving Gold certification through the RIAA. The driving force behind this album was to inspire, inject love and make the world dance, Beauty Marks flawlessly accomplishes all three with songs that capture the human spirit’s range and diversity.

“My mantra throughout the process of recording this album was about reminding myself that the scars you get from going through life are actually your beauty marks. Adversity ends up giving you wisdom and character and persevering through all those challenges makes you so much stronger,” said Ciara. “This album is about celebrating the journey that leads you to those Beauty Mark moments.”

In addition, Ciara dropped the music video for the project’s title track showcasing never-before-seen home footage from her wedding ceremony to Russell Wilson in 2016. Fans also get an exclusive peek inside the delivery room as Ciara shares the sweet moments behind-the-scenes of birthing her daughter, Sienna, and the first moments her son Future meets his baby sister. This unprecedented access to Ciara’s most private moments from her personal archives makes this song one of the most special on the album. It’s not only a celebration of finding your true love and the journey of motherhood, it’s also a song filled with hope and a reminder that all the obstacles that you may face in life can seem like scars but in the end, they truly become your Beauty Marks.

Ciara continues to make one power move after another in 2019. She formally launched Beauty Marks Entertainment as a boundless platform for her music, media, film, fashion, philanthropy, technology, and entrepreneurial pursuits. At the vanguard of the fast-changing music industry, the company’s business model was built on fully supporting the artist. The female-led enterprise places Ciara at the forefront of forward-thinking entertainers taking an entrepreneurial approach to their careers. Along with advancing a new paradigm sure to reshape the industry landscape, BME has already empowered Ciara to reclaim her narrative and realize her vision more completely than ever before.

“Ciara is a once-in-a-lifetime artist. We’re honored to bring this definitive body of work, her first independent album, to millions and millions of fans worldwide,” says Warner Music Group President of Independent Music and Creator Services Eliah Seton. “She continues to evolve, and her influence can be felt across music, film and television, fashion, and beyond. She is an extraordinary advocate and role model, and we’re so proud and happy to be in her orbit.”

“Ciara’s track record is unbelievable — between number one hits, award wins, multi-platinum albums, sold-out tours, and widespread acclaim,” agrees ADA President, A&R and Label Services, Kenny Weagly. “She simply never stops. We endeavor to match her passion and work together to launch the most exciting chapter of her illustrious career thus far.”

Already, the company, alongside of ADA Worldwide, has accelerated her independent imprint on the game. She introduced Beauty Marks Entertainment with the 2018 smash “Level Up.” Not only did it surpass 170 million YouTube views and 64 million Spotify streams, it clinched No. 1 on iTunes Top R&B/Soul Songs Chart for several weeks and became the No. 1 trending video on YouTube while landing in the top 10 on iTunes overall. Not to mention, she performed at the 2018 American Music Awards with Missy Elliott, dropped the now-legendary dance number to the Ellen DeGeneres Show and achieved the Soul Train Award in the category of “Best Dance Performance. Ciara also recently graced the stage at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards with a performance of “Thinkin Bout You” and will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as well as Good Morning America for their Summer Concert Series later this month. This new chapter started here as “Level Up” encompassed her current mantra and mindset.
